Nike Air Max

The Nike Air Max has been a staple since 1978. It has been famous since the Air Max 1 model was designed with inspiration from the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Its sole has become a generational symbol. In addition to the famous Air Max 1, we have the Air Max 97.

In 1978 Nike used AIR technology for the first time, and Tinker Hatfield was responsible for the first Nike Air Max 1, which is one of the best sports sneaker models in history. The designer was inspired by the Pompidou in Paris and created the first trainers that had a window with an air chamber in the shoe. The original colour of these trainers was white and red.

From the moment of its creation, there were numerous variants of the Nike Air Max, such as the Air Max Light, which created a lighter silhouette, the Air Max 90, the Nike Air Classic BW, which had a larger air capsule, and the Air Max 2, which was designed by Tinker Hatfield and had numerous air chambers.

The Nike Air Max model is one of the company's most iconic models and has undergone numerous colour and silhouette variations.  In addition to this they also have numerous collaborations with celebrities and other brands. Some examples are the following: Air Max x Patta, Air Max x Off-White, Air Max x Travis Scott or Air Max x Supreme.
