Carhartt WIP

Carhartt WIP started with products from the original workwear range and developed into classics such as the Carhartt coat, Carhartt jacket, Carhartt t-shirts and Carhartt sweatshirts, as well as accessories such as the classic Carhartt hat.

“Carhartt, true to its roots”

Carhartt begins in Detroit in 1882, when Hamilton Carhartt dropped out of school to start a wholesale furniture business. With just over two sewing machines and a half-horsepower electric motor in a small loft, Ham created the first prototype Carhartt Bib Overalls.

Decade after decade, Carhartt expanded rapidly with factories springing up around the world to help meet the demand for its clothes. Later Work In Progress, WIP, was born, which began its life presenting classic products from the original workwear range in European and Asian markets that valued the small details of the brand.

But Carhartt WIP isn't just about products, the brand encompasses art, music, skateboarding, underground subcultures and the urban sports scene.
