Adidas Forum
The Adidas Forum revolutionised the basketball courts in the 80s and nowadays they are the shoes designed for all kinds of situations with their different versions such as the adidas Forum Mid or the adidas Forum Low.
Designed in 1984 by Jacques Chassaing, they were first seen at the Summer Olympics in the USA in Los Angeles at "The Forum" stadium where they got their name. The first to wear them were the Spanish national basketball team, which at that time was participating in the NBA.
Starting out as basketball shoes, the Adidas Forum soon became one of the most famous sneaker silhouettes of the time and one of the pioneers of sneaker culture. They were worn by players such as Michael Jordan.
In 2009 this trainer is relaunched again and resurfaces making a fusion between vintage and modern. From 2020 this silhouette boomed again with collaborations such as Beyonce's IVY Park, who launched the Adidas Forum Mid in mental green, or the collaboration with Bad Bunny, or special Christmas collaborations such as the Grinch or Home Alone. There are numerous personalities who use these sneakers today and several brands such as M&M's or designers like Jeremy Scott who have participated in collaborations to create new models in different silhouettes.
